Initiate Transfer (Yealink Phones)

How to Initiate a Transfer Using a Yealink Phone (Works with Models T42/T46/ T48)
There are two call transfer options - assisted transfer and blind transfer.

An assisted transfer is when you notify the person you are transferring the call before they receive the call. "Hi Pamela, I am transferring a call to you from Joe."

blind transfer is an immediate call transfer without notifying the person you are transferring the call to.

While on the phone:

Assisted Transfer:
  1. Press 'Transfer' Soft Key or Button
  2. Dial Ext. or Number you would like to Transfer to.
  3. Press 'Send'
  4. Wait for the person you are transferring to pick up,
  5. Then announce who is calling, ie., 'Susie from Susie's Bakery'
  6. Press Transfer
When using this method, the Caller ID to the person you are Transferring to, will be your internal Caller ID. (Ext. 100). If you do not wish to use Assisted Transfer and would like the Caller ID to come up as the customers information, use the next method of transferring called a 'Blind Transfer.'

Blind Transfer:
  1. Press 'Transfer' Soft Key or Button
  2. Dial Ext. or Number you would like to Transfer to.
  3. Press 'B-Transfer'
Transfer Direct to Voicemail:
  1. Press 'Transfer' Soft Key or Button
  2. Dial *99[Ext.] or Number you would like to Transfer to.
  3. Example *99100 then B-Transfer or hang up the handset to complete.
