On the base station, hold down the Connect button for 2 seconds until the top light of the three green lights starts blinking.
On the handset, there should be a message that states "Unregistered!". Press the Regbutton on the bottom left of the screen.
Alternatively, the handset could have a message that states "Press base paging 2s then press OK". In this case, press the bottom on the bottom right of the screen labeled OK .
With the base in pairing mode, the handset with search for the base, and attempt to connect automatically.
Upon success, the phone will display a message confirming successful registration.
Pairing To Multiple Base Stations
Press the OK button on the handset to open the phone's main menu.
Navigate to Settings and press OK.

In settings, navigate down to Registration (or press 6 on the dialpad).
Navigate to Register Handset.
On the Yealink Base, hold down theConnectbutton until the top green light starts flashing.
Select the next empty Base #.
Wait for the Searching dialog to complete.
PressOKon the Subscribe Base screen, followed by your pin (default is 0000).
You should now be paired with the additional base.
Unpairing
Press the OK button on the handset to open the phone's main menu.
Navigate to Settings and press OK.
In settings, navigate down to Registration and press OK (or press6on the dialpad).
Select De-Reg. Handset → Enter Pin “0000” to confirm De-registration.
Select the correct handset.
Press Yes to confirm deleting registration from base.
Replacing A Damaged Handset (replace the pairing of handsets)
To replace a damaged or lost handset, you can unpair/de-register that handset with a replacement handset. To do so, follow the unpairing/de-registering process using any registered handset. Make sure to select the handset that is damaged or lost for de-registration. Then, follow the pairing steps on the new handset.
Note the location of the new handset will populate the first available location.
Example:
Handset 1 = extension 104
Handset 2 = not registered (formerly extension 110 for the damaged/lost handset which has been unpaired/un-registerde)
Handset 3 = extension 339
Handset 4 = extension 200
In this example, the new handset will be registered as Handset 2 with extension 110.
How do I know which handset I am working with and which handset to unpair?
Identifying each handset individually
Each handset will have its identify visible on the main screen.
Identifying all handset identities (including broken or damaged handsets)
Press the Line button.
All paired handsets, their corresponding handset numbers and extensions will be displayed on the Line Status screen.
The handset you are using will be the top-most in the list. Also, when selected, the handset you are using will display a Dial button.
Rename The Handset
Sometimes when pairing, the handset name will be generic like "Handset 1", "Handset 2", etc instead of the extension number. You can edit the name to be the extension or any other useful value. Use one of the following three methods to change the name.
Method 1 - From a Connected Handset (easiest and preferred method)
Method number 1 is the preferred method because the simplicity and because the handset is getting the information from the phone servers.
Press theOK button in the middle of the phone to bring up the Phone's menu.
Using the directional buttons, navigate to Settings and press OK.
Enter System Settings by pressing 8 on the dialpad, or scrolling down (with directional buttons) and pressing OK.
Navigate to Base Reset and press OK.
Enter the PIN for your device (default is "0000") and press Done.
The base will now factory reset and upon completion, will display "Success" on the phone screen.
Method 2 - From the Base
Power off the unit by unplugging the power cord from the back (for PoE, disconnect the network cable).
Wait for 15 seconds.
With the unit unplugged, press and hold the connect button on the base station.
While still holding the connect button, plug the power (or network cable if PoE) back into the unit.
Wait until all three lights on the unit are showing as solid green, and release the connect button.
Wait approximately 5 minutes.
Reboot the unit by unplugging it from power for 15 seconds and plugging it back in.
