Fix Connectivity Issues

Your Penguin service depends on the Internet so an interruption can affect your phone service. Once you confirm your Internet service has been restored, reboot your devices to resolve connectivity issues. 

Reboot your phone

  1. Unplug the power cord for your device from the power source.

    NOTE: If you use Power over Ethernet (PoE), unplug the Ethernet cable from the Power port.
  2. Wait 10 seconds and then plug the device back into a power source. 
  3. Wait for the device to reboot up to two times.
  4. Check for a dial tone and then make a test call.

Connectivity Issues Persist After Reboot

Make certain someone is available on site to assist with troubleshooting, then Contact Us. Be prepared to do the following:
 
  • Tell the technician when the issue began.
  • Inform the technician of any changes to your network equipment or Service Providers.
