Local Conference / N-way Conference

Local Conference / N-way Conference

Local Conference is a method of having conference calls. It is known as Local Conference because the access and controls are not a function of the VoIP server software you are using, but are a function of the phone (locally) you are using. It is also known as N-way Conference as there is a maximum N number of participants can be in the Local Conference; 3 (3-way) to 10 (10-way) callers in a conference. The number of callers depends fully upon the phone model being used to create and control the conference. See the table below for the n-way capability of your phone hardware.

For easier use and better capabilities, see Conference Bridge.

Starting Local Conference

While you are already in a call:

2. Call the desired second party
